When people ask me “What do you do?” I tell them “I work with women who have sacrificed their own health for their careers, or the needs of others. I help them recommit to themselves so they can lose weight, have more energy and feel confident and sexy again.”

Along with that, what I’m really known for is helping women love their bodies by claiming their beauty, wisdom, and joy for life as mature, seasoned, sophisticated, women. Because there’s so much more to life than constantly worrying and stressing about weight, restrictive dieting, and insane workouts.

Don’t get me wrong, your health is important.

And you’re better off living in a body that’s healthy and strong. I’m a holistic nutrition expert who can get you back on track with the right foods to eat and the perfect exercise routine to fit your body and lifestyle.

But if you’re spending the majority of your time obsessing over what you look like on the outside, and not taking into consideration what may be going awry on the inside, you’re fighting an uphill battle that’s bound to be lost.

It’s like throwing spaghetti on the wall hoping it’ll stick (won’t. ever. happen.)

Turning 40 is a RITE OF PASSAGE.

This is a milestone to honor and celebrate, not fear or ignore. This is the time to own your power and let your seasoned beauty shine through! And you do all of this when you’re feeling healthy, in your mind, body and spirit.

Here are 3 ways you can fully step into your power as a woman, feeling healthy in mind, body and spirit:

  1. Own Your Uniqueness. Have you been spending a lot of time obsessing over your imperfections? Or maybe you’ve spent years trying to get back into the size you used to be back in college? While there’s nothing wrong with having goals to work towards, there’s a lot wrong with not loving and accepting who you are right here and now. You can’t get to your goal if you’re not willing to love and accept yourself as you are. So put your obsession to good use and turn it into obsessive love for yourself!
  1. Create Meaningful Self-Care Rituals. We’ve all heard that self-care is important, but what’s even more important is creating self-care rituals that are meaningful to you. If being out in nature really makes you feel good, do it more often. If eating at the table is something you value (instead of eating on the fly), do it more often. The theme here is “Do what you value more often”.
  1. Manage Your Energy (not your time). Instead of putting all of your energy into better managing your time (so you can free up more energy), go about it the opposite way and work on better managing your energy so you can free up more time in your schedule. Studies show that you’re more productive when your energy is high (or at least stable). So do more of what gives you more energy throughout the day (nourishing food/drinks, walking breaks, soothing baths at night).

If you’re over 40 and feel like you’ve been missing out on the freedom to honor, love, and BE who you really are because you’ve spent so much of your time on the perpetual diet roller coaster, I’d love to let you know how I can support you in breaking through the REAL beauty barrier.

I’ll admit that this work isn’t for everyone.

It isn’t about trendy “superfoods” or hardcore exercise routines. The mindset work needed to be healthy from the inside out isn’t for the faint at heart, and that’s where we all need to start if we want to make it to the finish line.

But if you’re ready to claim your RITE OF PASSAGE of beauty, wisdom, and sophisticated “hauteness”, let’s get acquainted! True transformation begins on the inside.
