Body Movement: Commit in Advance

 

When it comes to exercise and moving your body on a regular basis, it can oftentimes take more of a commitment than you’re used to giving. If you haven’t been used to exercise being a priority in your life, it can be a challenge getting started and sticking with it.

One of the best ways to get the ball rolling (and keep it going) is to say “YES!” to your new routine by making a commitment in advance.

You can do this in several ways:

1. Pre-pay for classes, lessons, or personal training in advance

2. Register for a race, in advance

3. Join a team pre-season

What ways do you stay committed to your exercise routine? Have you tried anything unique that works for you?

I used to wear my workout clothes to bed at night so I had no excuse to not exercise in the morning!
