Have you ever tried something new and you were so excited about it that you were “gung-ho” and just went from zero to 100 in an instant? This is NOT recommended when it comes to starting a new exercise routine or sport (trust me!).

There’s just too much to risk when you overdo it, and if you injure yourself, you’re just setting yourself back more than when you started.

So if you’re planning on starting a new routine, here are a few tips on how to ease into it safely:

1. Start with something easy

2. If your workout is a long one to commit to in the beginning, just start with 5 minutes

3. Take a one month challenge

4. Get an exercise partner

Remember, slow and steady wins the race.

Ease into it in the beginning so you make it to the finish line safely!
