Body Movement: Tennis

I’ve always wanted to learn how to play tennis. It seems like a great sport for someone like me who’s on the midline of athletics, lol. Not too hard, yet not so easy either.

There are immense benefits of tennis as it helps keep your body, mind and health issues in check and provides you with entertainment and fun too. And I love that it’s not super-high impact. So many wins for this game!

Here are a few more reasons to get your racket out of the closet:

  1. Enhances your aerobic fitness
  2. Improves your speed through a series of side-to-side and up and back sprints
  3. Improves general body coordination since you have to move into position and then adjust your upper body to hit the ball successfully
  4. Increases bone strength and density by strengthening bones of young players and helping prevent osteoporosis in older ones

What’s not to love about this game?

Well except for the confusing way of keeping score, but that’s neither here nor there. Get your racket dusted off and get out on the court!
