Ever eat out at a restaurant and look around, noticing how people sit at the same table across from each other and are totally “not there”? They have their cellphones out either talking on it or texting?
Drives me crazy!
This even happens at the dinner table at home, especially if you have teenagers. But when you’re disconnected like this, it’s hard to fully NOURISH yourself, and quite honestly, it’s rude to those who’ve committed to spend time with you.
So I encourage you to be FULLY present when you eat your meals.
No matter if you’re out at a restaurant, or if you’re having dinner with loved ones at the family dinner table. Be present and enjoy the food and the company you’re with.
