So this one’s a no-brainer, right? Eat more vegetables & fruits. We all know we need to include more of these in our diet, yet it’s one of the biggest challenges most of us face today.
Even when I was a vegan, I was sometimes challenged with getting in the recommended 5-9 servings of vegetables & fruits a day on some days, primarily because I wasn’t always the healthiest vegan making the best choices.
So how can YOU get your veggies & fruits on daily?
Here are a few suggestions:
==> Always keep them on hand in the fridge and freezer.
==> Frozen is always a great alternative to fresh, so no excuses.
==> Choose 1 meal a DAY (not a week) as a plant-based meal.
==> Add them to soups
==> Sneak them into your breakfast (smoothies)
==> Stack up your sandwich
Vegetables & fruits give our bodies an amazing amount of NOURISHMENT on the cellular level, and in return we reap the multitude of benefits which include more energy, vibrant skin, regular bowel movements, and healthy weight maintenance.
So do your body good today and choose 1 meal out of 3 as your plant-based meal!
