In order to keep the weight from creeping on, you really (REALLY) have to become a more conscious eater. And no, I’m not talking about WHAT you eat right now (although that’s important), I’m talking about HOW you eat.
Because most of us are living our lives like we have roller-skates for feet, we convince ourselves that we don’t have time for certain things, and it’s usually the things that are important and life-changing.
Take FOOD, for instance.
Have you ever said, “I don’t have time for breakfast” or “It just takes too much time to make breakfast every morning”. And then you just grab something real quick, something usually high-carb without any sustenance.
Later in the day, you find yourself “starving”, and by the time you get home, you’re ready to eat any and everything in the house.
This isn’t the way to keep the extra weight at bay.
Reverse engineer your meals by eating your heartiest meal in the morning and taper it down by the evening by making the dinner meal your lightest meal of the day. Because if your heaviest meal of the day is at dinnertime, you’re in for gaining big pounds.
So eat breakfast like a KING, lunch like a QUEEN, and dinner like a PAUPER. There’s a lot of wisdom in that old saying.
